Fora Adopt a Pet

PLEASE NOTE:

The rapid growth of FRIENDS OF RESCUED ANIMALS (FORA), Krugersdorp animal shelter now in its 9th year of operation, has necessitated remedial restructuring of the shelter operations. The shelter has become well-known in recent years resulting in a dramatic increase in intake of dogs and cats, while the funding received and raised has increased at a much slower rate, making the current operational structure unsustainable.

A team of animal devotees led by long-time FORA supporter and donor, Anneke van Zyl and FORA stalwart Gaynor Lawrence, are addressing all systems and procedures and working on a multi faceted vision to develop a strategy for the future, with the guidance of appropriate experts. FORA will continue to appeal for and embrace all community involvement.

FORA has 800 dogs and 200 cats looking to be adopted into good homes, and welcomes support of any kind - money, time, skills.
